Dublin Two
Townhouse

We felt we needed to share this with you…

This tastefully renovated Dublin 2 townhouse was recently completed and we jumped at the chance to take some photographs of it.

The wonderful interior design was all from Elaine @ No 10 Design, who the customer was beyond glowing in their appraisal of the design… and we can clearly see why.

Adorning the floors throughout both floors of this townhouse is the fabulous Rhode Island Herringbone – Engineered Wood (Rhode Island Herringbone Tiles are out of stock, but you can see many beautiful herringbone flooring alternatives on our website).

Herringbone flooring is a timeless option. The mesmerising pattern coupled with the real wood surface of the engineered wood creates a truly special flooring. It is fantastic on-the-eye and feels tremendous under foot. Rhode Island is a natural tone which is very adaptable to its surroundings while having its own personality.

The centre-piece of the glorious kitchen is a book matched piece backsplash created with Neolith Estatuario. This 21st century material is made for 21st century kitchens.

The kitchen countertop is Neolith Calatorao Tono Silk which is a fantastic contrast to the backsplash and marries well with the kitchen units from Kube Kitchens. Neolith is an exceedingly beautiful material while also being incredibly strong, resistant to scratches, and is 100% food safe. Neolith is perfect for families due to its sturdy composition and also for kitchens that see plenty of cooking, with its incredibly low-porosity spillages are simply wiped clean.

A wood-effect outdoor porcelain is used on the patio, Tiber Wood Avana (Outdoor Wood Effect Tiles is a great solution for homeowners who wants the beauty of the wood and the quality of the porcelain tiles. This understated wood-effect 20mm porcelain is a fantastic patio option with its rugged anti-slip finish and soft beige wood hue. Removing the possibility of slips and slides while not showing up dirty in winter months is a real bonus.

The first floor is tied together with the natural tones of Rhode Island. The charming contemporary style from the ground floor is on show here too with white walls, tasteful art pieces and stunning lighting fixtures.

This home really is a celebration of herringbone, neolith and contemporary interior design.
